road safety awareness
Chevron Bangladesh is sponsoring road safety campaigns including special training programs partnering with Skills Craft Associates since 2019. Chevron’s program is intended to build awareness on safe road behaviors and build drivers’ defensive driving skills, with a goal of reducing traffic accidents. A total of 16 training sessions were conducted covering around 485 CNG drivers and helpers who ride surrounding Chevron Bangladesh gas plants. Aside from this, 25 road safety signs, slogans and 12 convex mirrors were installed in spots advised by the LGED (Local Government Engineering Department).
